The agency work primarily with clients in the technology sector both in the UK and internationally. The Account Executive will provide support to the Account Manager; main duties will revolve around liaising with journalists and securing editorial opportunities for clients. Other responsibilities will include: - Drafting of press releases, invitations, articles and newsletter copy - Managing photocalls - Contributing to proposals and monthly reporting activities - Maintaining day to day Client contact - Preparing coverage reports - Attending client meetings, drafting agendas and contact reports for these meetings - Maintaining an accurate photographic library for each client - Organising (including invitations and all press liaison) and attending press briefings, photocalls and other client events There will also be opportunities to take on planning responsibilities, and to drive the creative and organisational processes behind PR campaigns. Applicants must be of graduate calibre with 1-2 years full-time experience within a PR role. The successful candidate will have exceptional organisational skills, a confident and proactive approach and, most importantly of all, a tireless work ethic. The ability to instigate and nurture relationships with clients and journalists alike is particularly critical.
